All About Raspberry
Latin name : Rubus idaeus L
There are three main varieties of raspberries: black, red and golden.
The red raspberry is the most commonly available and is cultivated globally. Used in various food and bevarge products, the raspberry is also grown for commercial processing into purees and juices.
Vivid in colour and sweetly perfumed the raspberry is most commonly used processed as a flavouring and in desserts.

The raspberry is a member of the rose family, which means botanically it is not classed as a true berry.
