The large tropical soursop is native to the Caribbean and Central and Southern America.

The fruit is covered in prickly spines and is unique in taste. In many cultures, Soursop is eaten raw and often used for deserts.

The pulp of the fruit is often used processed to make juice and ice-cream flavourings.
