Customers calling us for support will know we’ve recently welcomed Vicki Dayment to the Cobell team. Here we find out more about our new Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator.
Vicki, who comes from Devon and lives near Dartmouth, studied Business Management at Bath Spa University.
“Being such a broad course, I feel it really introduced me to the business environment and aided my understanding of how business works.
“Working in the sales support pod here at Cobell is a fast-paced, challenging and varied position, with a central focus on customer care and satisfaction. The challenges we face vary from day-to-day, they often involve problem solving and meeting tight deadlines.
“Working closely with the Business Development Managers, we process all orders from start to finish; from liaising with warehouses and our purchasing team to locate stock, to collaborating with external hauliers to get stock moving on the way to our customers!
“Whether their order is being produced here at The Juice Factory, or is on its way from Germany, we keep in touch with our customers, providing regular updates and communications. There are always several challenges on the go at the same time, which is part of the fun and definitely keeps us busy!
“As a relatively new member of the team and working within the core of Cobell, I have been able to observe and learn from all areas of the business, working with each department to see how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together – something that has benefited me greatly.”
Before joining Cobell, Vicki was a receptionist at a busy holiday park and theme park near Dartmouth, taking reservations and handling customer enquiries.
“It was fast-paced and I learnt a lot, strengthening my customer services skills. I have always been at the heart of customer services in customer facing positions, dealing with enquiries and problem solving. I love working with people so customer satisfaction is really important to me. Joining Cobell has given me the opportunity to further my career within a varied and dynamic environment.”
Vicki loves to have a good work-life balance. She says: “During the week nights, I regularly go to crossfit sessions and, at the weekends, I enjoy my downtime, getting out and about with friends and going for dinner.”
